Pin-Tumbler Lock

In the lock world there are countless kinds of tumbler locks that come in several sizes and shapes that work in and move in alternative ways. The 3 most basic designs of tumbler locks are the lever, disk and pin; however there's also the interchangeable core lock and the tubular lock, also called the tubular key lock.

 

Magnetic Lock

Magnetic locks, like electric strikes, use electromagnetism to regulate the locking mechanism. They depend on electrical power, whether from a building current or a battery, and as a consequence they are as reliable as a refrigerator, television , or bedside alarm clock.

 

Keycard Lock

A keycard lock is a lock controlled by a keycard, a flat, oblong plastic card with matching dimensions to that of a card or driver's license which stores a physical or digital signature that the door mechanism accepts before disengaging the lock.
